Check Items List

Check Items are divided into Standard Criteria and Warning Criteria.

Standard Criteria
(14 PDQ check criteria)
: All errors must be corrected to obtain a data quality assurance key. If errors remain, "Failed" is issued for the confirmed section.
         
Warning Criteria
(1 PDQ check criterion +
 3 ToleranceCheck criteria)
: To ensure data quality, these criteria require inspection (but not necessarily correction) of the shape.
If no errors exist with respect to standard criteria and the only remaining errors are with respect to warning criteria, "Passed with warning" is issued for the confirmed section.

Standard Criteria Description
1 Tiny Curve or Segment (Curve) Curves and edges (d) shorter than 0.01 mm are detected.
2 Narrow Face Faces of maximum width (L) less than 0.01 mm in the transverse (narrower) direction are detected.
3 Over-Used Edge Edges shared by three or more faces are detected.
4 Inconsistent Edge In Loop Inconsistencies between the parametric direction of an edge in an edge loop and the loop direction are detected.
5 Large Edge Face Gap Gaps exceeding 0.01 mm between trim edges and underlying surfaces (d) are detected.
6 Large Face Gap Gaps (d) exceeding 0.01 mm between sides that should be shared by adjacent faces are detected.
7 Large Curve Gap Gaps (d) exceeding 0.01 mm between endpoints that should be shared by adjacent curve segments are detected.
8 Self-Intersecting Loop Instances in which edges in a loop intersect are detected. Acute angles formed by adjacent edges are not checked.
9 Self-Intersecting Surface Instances in which a curved surface intersects itself are detected.
10 Non-Tangent Segments Non-tangent edges forming angles of 3° or more between adjacent segments in edges are detected.
11 Non-Tangent Patches Non-tangent surfaces forming angles exceeding 3° between adjacent patches in surfaces are detected.
12 Tiny Curve or Segment (Segment) Edge segments shorter than 0.005 mm are detected.
13 Narrow Surface or Patch (Patch) Surface patches with sides of width (L) less than 0.005 mm in the transverse (narrower) direction are detected.
14 Self-Intersecting Curve Instances in which a curve segment intersects itself are detected.

Warning Criteria Description
15 Embedded Faces Overlapping of two surfaces wherein one surface partially overlaps the other (by less than 0.01 mm) or is completely embedded is detected.

C2=n!/(n-2)!2! problems are detected.
T1 ToleranceCheck - Feature Tolerance A setting for feature tolerances in the section other than 0.01 mm is detected.
T2 ToleranceCheck - Edge Tolerance Set tolerances for edges in the section other than 0.01 mm are detected.
T3 ToleranceCheck - Default Tolerance Modeling settings with distance tolerances other than 0.01 mm are detected.
